I'm not certain, but I believe when I went to what is now called the Paulding General Store around 1950 it just a small tavern. If anyone has any information on this I would like to know it I am correct.
I have been to this shop many times throughout my life with visiting family and friends. I feel the need to warn my guests that the workers are usually crabby and there are no samples. This time was it. They had my flavor right there and wouldn't take the top off the carton. I was told it wouldn't be thawed. But it's sitting in the same cooler as all the other ice cream that is being served! Also my mother in law wanted a small in a waffle cone and was told that wasn't possible. Jilberts is my favorite brand of ice cream and I only know a few places to get it so I'm disappointed to have been treated so rudely that I will not be bringing nor recommending anyone stop at this store for ice cream.
Don't forget to get an ice cream cone.
